Are you losing focus? We’re in what could easily be called the Age of Distraction. Between all the media sources we’re exposed to, all the forms of Social Media, instant communication and technology at our fingertips…we’ve just become inundated with ready-made distractions to keep us from meeting our goals and threaten the very simplicity we’re trying to build in our lives.
So today, we’d like to talk about some simple ways to get your focus back, and beat the distractions that keep us from focusing on what’s important to us. We’ll go over a few personal examples of distractions we face and share a couple of tools we use to help keep us on track. Read more…

Why No Show This Week?

I have a friend who has a lot of “interesting” sayings. One he uses when he’s not feeling well is “I feel like death riding an onion!” Honestly, I’m not sure what that means…but I get his point. If you’ve listened to the last few episodes of the show, we’ve mentioned for a couple of weeks that we were dealing with “the crud”. That’s pretty unusual for us because we’re typically pretty healthy. Especially Vanessa.
Well, at the end of “Crud: Week 2”, we finally went to the doc to get checked out. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and Vanessa with bronchitis, which, of course, nobody has time for. Crazy. Read more…
