Why No Show This Week?

I have a friend who has a lot of “interesting” sayings. One he uses when he’s not feeling well is “I feel like death riding an onion!” Honestly, I’m not sure what that means…but I get his point. If you’ve listened to the last few episodes of the show, we’ve mentioned for a couple of weeks that we were dealing with “the crud”. That’s pretty unusual for us because we’re typically pretty healthy. Especially Vanessa.
Well, at the end of “Crud: Week 2”, we finally went to the doc to get checked out. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and Vanessa with bronchitis, which, of course, nobody has time for. Crazy. Read more…

My Latest Ritual

As I mentioned a couple of times on the show, specifically in Episode 30, Buying Time, and Where Do I Start? and I think I mentioned it more recently in Episode 35, Living in 50 Square Feet…Vacation Simplified (but I’m not 100% sure), I’ve started looking at the necessary evil of shaving as a ritual rather than merely a task.
